Home ownership within reach
We need your support!
How it works:
We are proposing a community of 34 small, modular homes on a beautiful, forested 10 acre lot on Bowen Island. Our community members will own their homes (up to 530 square feet) while renting the site on which they reside.
The cost of this combined homeownership / land lease is similar to the carrying costs of buying a home for $400,000.
Our goal is to provide long-term affordable housing in a healthy, and environmentally conscious way.
Why it’s great: Tiny home villages foster community growth & offer a unique way into the housing market for families and individuals. We hope to strengthen the fibre of our island community by offering a solution to an increasingly unaffordable and unstable market for renters and prospective homeowners.
